Version 1.1 · Last updated: July 2026
1. Who we are
WealthByte respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit the WealthByte website or contact us.
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Data controller: WealthByte Ltd
Registered in England and Wales, company number 16301978

2. What we collect
At this stage of our development, we collect very limited personal data through this website.
If you choose to join the WealthByte waitlist or request updates, we collect your email address. We do not ask for your name, financial information, or any other personal data through the website at this stage.
If you email us, we will hold the information you choose to include in your message so that we can reply to you.
3. How we use your information
to maintain a list of people interested in early access to WealthByte;
to send occasional updates on the development of the WealthByte platform; and
to communicate important announcements relating to the platform.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you join the waitlist or ask to receive updates. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email or contacting us at the address above. When you contact us directly, we process your message on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you.
5. Website technical information
We keep the website deliberately light: we do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
As with most websites, limited technical information — such as IP address and browser type — may appear in standard server logs used for basic website operation and security. This information is not used to identify individual visitors. Our hosting platform may use strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function.
If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.
6. Sharing your information
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the website and manage communications — for example, our website hosting provider and the email platform we use to send updates. These providers process data only on our instructions and are required to comply with applicable data protection law.
We may also disclose information where required to do so by law or by a regulatory authority.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy — whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete your email address at any time.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
access the personal data we hold about you;
ask us to correct inaccurate data;
ask us to delete your personal data;
restrict or object to certain types of processing; and
withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email connect@wealthbyte.co.uk. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we design for security from the start.
10. Links to other websites
This website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or the development of the WealthByte platform. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date shown at the top.
